Overview

RGP has been engaged by a global financial services environment to provide a contract Data Operations Manager to lead data governance, quality, and operational processes across investment platforms. This role focuses on ensuring high-quality, reliable data, while driving best practices, team leadership, and continuous improvement across data operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead data governance and quality processes across investment platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Oversee portfolio and portfolio group setup and maintenance across systems
• Manage Security Master data, ensuring alignment across platforms including Bloomberg Terminal and BlackRock Aladdin
• Review and govern data quality outputs (e.g. issuer mapping, duplicate controls) to maintain data integrity
• Oversee data operations within Eagle Investment Systems
• Lead a small team, ensuring delivery, quality standards, and adherence to SOPs
• Engage with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
• Drive continuous improvement, including process optimisation and automation initiatives

Requirements

• Degree qualified
• 10+ years experience in investment data / operations
• Strong experience across Aladdin, Bloomberg, Bloomberg AIM, and Eagle
• Prior team leadership experience (minimum 5 years)
• Understanding of trade lifecycle, reference data, and compliance / sanctions processes is advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Exposure to automation, analytics, or AI initiatives is a plus
