Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed engineering designs using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models based on project requirements.
• Create technical drawings, layouts, schematics, and diagrams.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Review designs for practicality, efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate closely with production, site, and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, or installation stages.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Good Experience in production and product knowledge of heavy duty equipment is essential.
• Experience in Industrial Equipment Manufacturing is desirable.
• Through knowledge in Industrial Standards, Manufacturing, Welding and Testing is value added advantage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years experience in mechanical design & fabrication. Or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 7 years Design experience.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Experience with the design and fabrication of complex mechanical systems and components.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to converse and write in English.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred due to frequent communication with China-based counterparts.
