We're Hiring: DevOps Engineer | 12-Month Contract | On-Site, Malaysia
We're looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in software development, automation, and modern infrastructure practices.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Kotlin, Java 11+, Node.js, Python, and Azure DevOps, with solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and cloud/container environments.
Location: Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia
Duration: 12 Months
Role Summary:
As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize automation solutions for scalable, secure, and reliable systems. You'll work across development, build, and deployment processes integrating DevSecOps practices, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring smooth operations across on-premises, cloud, and containerized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Kotlin, Java 11+, Node.js, and Python.
- Utilize Maven and Gradle for build and dependency management.
- Develop and enhance Eclipse and IntelliJ extensions/plugins.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices and ensure compliance with secure SDLC principles.
- Architect solutions aligned with SOLID principles and secure software development frameworks.
- Manage and optimize on-premises, cloud, and container-based infrastructure deployments.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 68+ years of software development and automation experience.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin, Java 11+, Node.js, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Practical knowledge of DevSecOps principles.
- Proficiency with Maven and Gradle build tools.
- Experience developing Eclipse and IntelliJ plugins/extensions.
- Strong understanding of on-premises, cloud, and container infrastructure.
- Familiarity with design patterns, SOLID principles, and secure SDLC.
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing and maintaining on-premises/cloud/container deployment solutions.
- Familiarity with end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.
