Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design-for-Test (DFT) Engineer located in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The DFT Engineer will work closely with the SoC design team& staff engineers to develop and implement effective DFT design & pre-silicon validation solutions for semiconductor devices or SOC. Responsibilities include validating DFT architectures, generating validation test patterns, conducting simulations, and analyzing test coverage. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting and resolving DFT-related issues, optimizing test efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and development cycle time.

Qualifications

• Experience with DFT features (SCAN, MBIST, Boundary SCAN, JTAG), and Test Development Engineering.
• Ability to create, implement, and manage Test Cases for quality assurance
• Expertise in SCAN/Array/Functional Testing methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies for DFT is desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities
• Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and testing processes will be an advantage
• 3 years design or validation experience in DFT
