Digital Product Specialists (Manager), Technology Lab, Business Technology

ROLE PURPOSE

• The Digital Product Specialist plays a strategic and operational role in guiding the development of innovative digital products from concept to launch and beyond. Leveraging on a deep understanding of agile project management, UIUX, design thinking with ability to capture comprehensive business requirements and cross-functional leadership, the Specialist acts as the bridge between stakeholders and the technical development team, delivering value to the business through the innovative digital product. Defines and advocate the product vision and roadmap for digital products in the portfolio.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Leveraging on a deep understanding of agile project management, UIUX and design thinking, comprehensively translate user needs and business requirements into clear and actionable product backlog.

• Drive product vision and demonstrates agile and design thinking methodologies.

• Manage the backlog of product requirements.

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for key area of the business digital product portfolio.

• Champion the user experience by working with designers and technology teams.

• Evaluate and validate product outcomes and user feedback to guide iterations or pivots.

• Focus on guiding the development of innovative digital products from concept to launch and beyond, taking full advantage of the potential of technology to address defined problem statements.

• Cross Functional Leadership - leads and communicate to cross functional teams, e.g. engineering,

design, support and business to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the product vision, strategy,

roadmap and the overall business goals.

• Advocates agile, business process improvements, process simplification and business transformation.

• Plans external communication about the value of the product, and articulate product differentiation to increase adoption rate. Expected to help users in adopting and using the product as intended.

• Mentor junior members

QUALIFICATIONS

Academic Qualifications: A degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.

License / Certification: Agile, Scrum Product Owner, ScrumMaster, DevOps, UX Design

Experience:

a) Five (5) years and above, with experience in leading a team and managing senior stakeholders (IT and Business)

b) Experienced in driving alignment between tech and business via Agile methodology.

c) Experienced in cross-functional collaboration (collaborate with designers, developers, technologists)

d) Proven track record of digital innovation projects and knowledge in emerging technologies.
