Position Objective:
This senior leadership role is responsible for working closely with the EXCO to lead the development and execution of the Bancassurance strategy. The incumbent plays a pivotal role in transforming distribution channels through innovative digital solutions, maximizing business potential, and ensuring alignment with the Company's vision, mission, and overall strategic objectives. The role requires strong leadership to drive cross‑functional collaboration, establish high‑impact partnerships, and maintain effective relationships with key banking partners to ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes within optimized cost parameters.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the design, execution, and management of the Bancassurance channel marketing strategic roadmap in alignment with the annual strategic plan. Drive innovation through digital transformation to enhance bank seller effectiveness, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
- Project and Program Management: Oversee high‑priority strategic channel marketing and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure business cases are robust, secure executive approvals, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure successful execution.
- Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key banking partners, working closely with them to align and implement the Company's strategic priorities.
- Market Penetration and Channel Engagement: Lead the design and rollout of targeted marketing initiatives, sales promotions, and customer repurchase roadmaps aimed at driving deeper product penetration and higher repurchase across banking channels. Ensure timely launch of performance‑driven campaigns and incentive programs within approved cost parameters. Monitor campaign effectiveness and continuously optimize outcomes. Develop relevant marketing content to enhance customer engagement and drive sales conversion.
- Performance Management & Reporting: Develop and implement a performance management framework to track outcomes against key bank and business metrics. Provide insights and reporting to senior management, including EXCO and banking partners, and lead the preparation of Steering Committee materials.
- Digital Transformation: Drive adoption of digital tools and solutions to streamline processes, enhance partner and customer experiences, and improve operational efficiency, positioning the partnership distribution function at the forefront of industry best practices.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 7 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong business acumen with a proven track record in partnership and bancassurance management.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in change management, team development, and performance optimization.
- Solid experience in project and financial management, including delivery of complex initiatives within timelines and budget.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical problem‑solving skills, and a proactive mindset for driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Fluent in multiple languages, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
