Job Description

What You Will Expect:

Support the administration and management of the partnership between AIA General Berhad and the bancassurance partner, ensuring seamless operational processes, accurate and timely reporting, and effective coordination across both internal and external stakeholders.

What You Will Do:

Reporting, Analysis & Insights

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive production reports covering sales performance, market analysis, and profitability insights.
  • Conduct data compilation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of all reports.
  • Track and monitor monthly budget performance, analyze variances, and provide clear, timely explanations.
  • Prepare and process monthly accrual reports for marketing fees with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Present data, analysis, and findings in a clear, structured, and professional manner when required.

Product & Operational Support

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of product changes and updates.
  • Support commercial risk acceptance processes by liaising with relevant internal teams.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking on general insurance products to support business competitiveness.
  • Manage product‑related inquiries, providing prompt, clear, and professional responses to sales teams and stakeholders.

Stakeholder Management & Coordination

  • Work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams such as Product, Finance, Sales, and Operations to ensure seamless execution of business activities.
  • Coordinate with the bancassurance partner on matters related to product, reporting, and operations to support partnership effectiveness.
  • Deliver high‑quality service and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence & Administration

  • Support ad‑hoc administrative tasks, reporting needs, and project‑related assignments as required.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency across workstreams.
  • Ensure all outputs including reports, reconciliations, and product implementation deliverables meet standards of accuracy, quality, and timeliness.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the General Insurance industry.
  • Candidates with Actuarial background who has taken on other roles such as portfolio management, data analytics or underwriting, ideally within the General Insuranceindustry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in reporting, data validation, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data clearly and professionally.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, product implementation, and/or bancassurance processes is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, results‑driven, and meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable handling multiple tasks, deadlines, and ad‑hoc assignments.
