Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Group's sustainability strategy and framework across business divisions
  • Formulate sustainability policies, procedures, and governance structures
  • Drive integration of sustainability initiatives into property development and manufacturing operations
  • Develop strategic sustainability roadmaps and continuous improvement plans
  • Identify sustainable solutions across processes, products, and community initiatives
  • Embed ESG principles into operational and strategic decision-making
  • Promote energy efficiency, resource optimisation, and responsible business practices
  • Lead the preparation and publication of the Annual Sustainability Report
  • Coordinate cross-functional data collection and validation
  • Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting requirements and relevant ESG frameworks
  • Analyse and demonstrate the link between non-financial ESG performance and financial performance, highlighting value creation, cost efficiencies, risk mitigation, and long-term business impact
  • Support integrated reporting initiatives linking sustainability performance to corporate strategy and financial outcomes
  • Establish and monitor sustainability KPIs and performance metrics
  • Conduct impact assessments of sustainability initiatives and programmes
  • Develop tracking systems to measure effectiveness and ensure accountability
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Manage ESG scoring and rating submissions (e.g., FTSE4Good, MSCI, S&P Sustainability Indices)
  • Ensure alignment with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and other applicable standards
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders including regulators, investors, media, NGOs, and local communities
  • Coordinate sustainability-related award submissions and external recognitions

Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Professional ESG or sustainability certifications are an added advantage
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, corporate strategy, or related functions
  • Experience in property development or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Hands-on experience in preparing Annual Sustainability Reports
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards
  • Familiar with Bursa Malaysia Sustainability Reporting Guidelines
  • Experience in ESG rating assessments and benchmarking
  • Strong analytical capability in linking non-financial and financial performance
