Job Description: E-Commerce & Marketing Manager (Malaysia)

Location: Malaysia

Reports to: Head of Marketing / Country Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven E-Commerce & Marketing Manager to lead our digital and offline marketing initiatives in Malaysia. This role will be responsible for managing online marketplaces, driving social commerce, building affiliate and KOL partnerships, and coordinating with distributor partners to execute in-store promotions.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, strong execution skills, and excellent stakeholder management to grow our brand presence and sales across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Management (Online Sales & Marketplaces)

  • Manage and optimize performance across online platforms, including Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and other e-commerce channels
  • Plan and execute platform campaigns (Mega Sales, Flash Sales, Sponsored Ads)
  • Monitor sales KPIs, GMV, conversion rates, and campaign ROI
  • Implement pricing, promotion, and product listing strategies to maximize online revenue

2. Social Commerce & Influencer Marketing

  • Identify, onboard, and manage KOLs / influencers and affiliate partners
  • Build and manage affiliate programs to drive measurable GMV growth
  • Collaborate to create engaging digital campaigns for social commerce channels
  • Track performance metrics and provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns

3. Offline Marketing & Distributor Coordination

  • Work closely with distributor partners to ensure effective execution of in-store promotions and activations
  • Manage POSM (point-of-sale materials) deployment, roadshows, sampling events, and other in-store activities
  • Ensure promotions are delivered on time, in full, and in line with brand standards
  • Provide guidance and training to distributor sales teams when needed. Monitor and ensure visual merchandising across all stores (with field sales team)
  • Track sell in, sell out and inventory data

4. Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare regular performance reports across online and offline channels
  • Track campaign effectiveness, ROI, affiliate GMV, and overall sales performance
  • Share on-ground learnings and activations from store visits weekly
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in marketing and sales initiatives

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce and marketing management, preferably in FMCG or retail
  • Experience managing online marketplaces like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop
  • Strong knowledge of affiliate marketing, KOL/Influencer programs, and social commerce
  • Experience coordinating offline activations with distributors or retail partners
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret sales and marketing data.
  • Fluent in English; Bahasa Malaysia
