EHS Manager

A leading FMCG manufacturer is looking for an EHS Manager to join their company.

My client is a well-established manufacturing organisation with a strong presence in the consumer products sector. The company is committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and maintaining high standards in workplace safety and employee wellbeing. They are now looking for an EHS Manager to join their plant in Negeri Sembilan, where you will lead all environmental, health and safety initiatives to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and promote a safe and sustainable workplace.

Your new role

• Lead the overall health, safety, and environmental agenda across manufacturing and operational sites.
  
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve safety policies, procedures, and compliance programmes.
  
• Drive a proactive safety culture through training, awareness initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  
• Partner with operational leaders to identify risks, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Monitor regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in FMCG manufacturing environment.
  
• Proven experience managing health and safety programmes within a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements and recognised safety management systems.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation.
  
• Ability to analyse risks, lead investigations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
