Work with the engineering team developing the first Solid State Active Thermal Solution for laptops, ensuring optimal heat dissipation and performance.
Design and optimize multilayer PCB layouts for high-speed digital and analog circuits.
Work closely with mechanical engineers and PCB layout designers to meet electrical, mechanical, and thermal constraints.
Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to ensure thermal reliability and compliance with design requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing to ensure seamless product development.
Perform design reviews, component selection, schematic capture, and layout verification.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal integrity, EMI/EMC, thermal performance, and board bring-up.
Participate in prototype builds, testing, and validation of hardware systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in electrical hardware design with a focus on PCB layout and hardware validation.
Solid understanding of thermal design principles and thermal simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, FloTHERM). Strong knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and board-level design practices.
Experience working with high-speed interfaces (e.g., USB, PCIe, DDRx, Ethernet).
