Job Description
- Project Execution
- Supervise site electrical works (cabling, panels, solar arrays, earthing)
- Ensure compliance with design specs and standards
- Inspect site daily, monitor safety, quality, and progress
- Coordinate with contractors, designers, and suppliers
- Review technical drawings and resolve design issues (RFI)
- Manage site logistics and material deliveries
- Control Building Electrical Systems
- Supervise installation of control building systems (MV/LV switchgear, SCADA,
- lighting, alarms, HVAC power)
- Coordinate internal electrical fit-out, earthing, and cable management
- Participate in inspections, functional testing, and compliance checks
- Coordinate with civil works for structural integration and safety
- Testing & Commissioning
- Oversee and document testing and commissioning of systems (e.g., inverters, transformers, protection)
- Troubleshoot issues and ensure proper system energisation
- Design Coordination
- Collaborate with design teams on RFIs and as-built updates
- Highlight and resolve drawing inconsistencies
- Site Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain complete site records and prepare reports
- Assist with project handover documentation (O&M manuals, warranties)
- Health, Safety & Environment
- Enforce safety compliance and participate in safety
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Engage with all stakeholders and attend coordination meetings
- Ensure clear communication among all project parties
- Mechanical or/and Electrical Engineering (Min. Diploma)
- Min 3 years working Experience in construction/solar field
- Will to relocate and base in Northern Malaysia
- QAQC experience is advantages
