Role Overview
Join Maxis as an Employee Experience Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting initiatives that enhance employees overall workplace experience. This role offers exposure to employee engagement programmes, internal communications, event management, and data insights, while working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver meaningful initiatives that foster a positive and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Engagement Events
- Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives such as townhalls, engagement activities, and wellness programmes.
- Provide coordination support to ensure smooth event planning and delivery.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
- Support logistics coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners or vendors.
- Assist in managing timelines and ensuring all event requirements are fulfilled.
- Event Materials Preparation
- Help prepare materials required for events, including presentations, communications, signage, and registration lists.
- Ensure materials are organised and ready for execution.
- Employee Surveys & Feedback Analysis
- Assist in setting up employee surveys and supporting data collection processes.
- Perform basic analysis of survey results to identify key insights and feedback.
- Internal Communications Support
- Support the creation of content for internal communications such as emails, announcements, posters, and intranet posts.
- Help ensure messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with internal communication standards.
- Participation & Reporting Tracking
- Assist in tracking event participation and feedback.
- Support post-event reporting and documentation of engagement outcomes.
- On-Ground Event Support
- Provide on-ground coordination during events to ensure smooth execution.
- Assist with attendee management, logistics, and troubleshooting when required.
- Administrative & Ad-Hoc Support
- Provide general administrative support and assist with ad-hoc tasks related to Employee Experience initiatives.
Value-Added Project
The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to initiatives related to
AI adoption in employee engagement, exploring how digital tools and emerging technologies can enhance internal communications, engagement strategies, and employee experience programmes.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, or related fields
- Strong interest in event management, employee engagement, or internal communications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Exposure to digital tools or Generative AI platforms is an added advantage
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders
- Good written communication skills with creativity in copywriting and designing internal materials
- Comfortable working with survey data, tracking participation, and summarising feedback
- Basic proficiency in Excel for simple data analysis
