Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Duration: 12 months (extendable)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to define and drive the target-state architecture and technology roadmap for a large-scale transformation or infrastructure migration program. This role will ensure alignment between business objectives, technology strategy, and execution while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop the target-state enterprise architecture aligned with business and technology strategy
- Establish and maintain the technology roadmap to support transformation and migration initiatives
- Provide architectural oversight across infrastructure, applications, data, integration, and security domains
- Ensure migration strategies and execution align with long-term enterprise architecture goals
- Establish and enforce architecture standards, frameworks, and governance processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure architectural consistency and alignment
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and internal governance requirements
- Support decision-making by evaluating technology options, risks, and trade-offs
- Provide guidance and best practices across the program lifecycle
Key Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an Enterprise Architect or similar strategic architecture role
- Strong cross-domain expertise in infrastructure, applications, data, integration, and security
- Proven experience in defining enterprise architecture frameworks and technology roadmaps
- Experience in large-scale transformation or data center migration programs
- Strong understanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., banking, financial services, or telecom)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or similar)
- Exposure to cloud and hybrid architecture environments
- Proficiency in Bahasa Melayu is an added advantage
