Rawang, Selangor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, andmaintaining comprehensive EHS programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant workenvironment.

Key Responsibilities:-

Develop, implement, and enhance EHS policies, procedures, and programs in alignment withlegal requirements and industry best practices.

Conduct regular risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits to identify potential hazardsand ensure corrective actions are taken.-Lead the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 certification processes, including systemimplementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Prepare and deliver EHS training programs to employees and management to promote safetyawareness and compliance.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports withrecommendations for preventive measures.

Collaborate with project managers and other departments to integrate EHS considerations intoplanning and operations.

Review and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure compliance with safetystandards.

Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, and reports in accordance with regulatory andcorporate requirements.

Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to create reports, presentations, andtraining materials.

Responsible for all safety work of Linergy property management, and is the safety executive representative of the property.

Complete the work arranged by superiors and regional FE managers.

Qualifications:

Degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Safety Engineering, or arelated field.

Minimum of 3 years of EHS management experience in an industrial setting.

Must possess a valid Registered Safety & Health Officer (Green Book) certification.

Strong knowledge of national EHS laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support project managers in achieving EHSobjectives.

Proficiency in both spoken and written English for daily communication and report writing.-Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Experience in leading EHS management system implementation and certification.

Preferred Skills:-

Proven ability to develop training plans, operational guidelines, and procedural documents.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
