Role Description The Executive, Demand & Supply Planning is a full-time, on-site role based in Shah Alam. This role is responsible for forecasting demand, planning supply, and coordinating inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock. The executive collaborates closely with sales, marketing, production, and logistics teams to gather market insights, align forecasts, and support promotional and new product initiatives. Daily tasks include analyzing historical sales data, monitoring order patterns, tracking service levels, and adjusting plans to respond to changes in demand or supply constraints. The role also involves preparing regular reports, supporting continuous improvement in planning processes, and ensuring adherence to company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, including proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and interpreting sales and inventory reports.
  • Candidates should possess planning and coordination skills, with experience in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management within FMCG or related industries.
  • Candidates should possess solid communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, production, and logistics.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant software tools, such as MS Excel, ERP or planning systems, and other office productivity applications.
  • Candidates should possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications in supply chain or planning are an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in demand and supply planning, supply chain, or operations in FMCG or manufacturing environments is beneficial.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Shah Alam and demonstrate a commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and ethical business practices.
