Position: Executive-Finance Operations

Location: Tun Razak Exchange, Kuala Lumpur

Job Summary

• Responsible for executing day-to-day transactional and operational finance activities accurately and on a timely basis, while ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and service level commitments. The role supports Accounts Payable (AP), Travel & Expense (T&E), Intercompany Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Oracle master data maintenance and Finance Query Management.
• The incumbent is expected to handle operational processing, reconciliations, exception follow-up, stakeholder queries, master data updates, documentation and continuous improvement support within a shared services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operations of Finance Operations activities and coordinate team execution.
• Monitor operational performance, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.

• Support AP activities, including invoice receipt, validation, processing, payment support and vendor account maintenance.
• Invoice processing accuracy, Payment timeliness, AP aging management, Audit compliance

• Support expense claims processing and employee reimbursement activities.
• T&E processing SLA achievement, Policy compliance, Employee satisfaction

• Support intercompany agreement governance and transfer pricing requirements.
• Intercompany reconciliation completion, Aging reduction, Month-end close support

• Support asset capitalization, transfers, disposals and depreciation activities.
• Asset register accuracy, Timely depreciation runs, Capital expenditure reporting

• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting requirements.
• Lease accounting accuracy, Compliance with IFRS 16 / MFRS 16, Timely reporting and reconciliations

• Match bank statement transactions against general ledger records.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve reconciliation differences and outstanding items promptly.

• Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Support automation, standardization and process simplification initiatives.
• Conduct root cause analysis of operational issues and implement corrective actions.

• Support cross-training, knowledge sharing and capability building across finance operations processes.
• Support resource planning and workload coordination to meet service commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Experience in finance operations, transactional finance processes and service delivery within a shared services or high-volume operations environment, with 1-3 years of relevant finance operations experience.
• Experience handling AP, T&E, reconciliations, intercompany, fixed asset or lease accounting activities, with exposure to stakeholder query resolution and operational follow-up.
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, Coupa, Workday, OneStream or equivalent
• Strong service delivery mindset with accountability for meeting assigned SLAs, stakeholder outcomes and operational quality expectations.
• Strong understanding of finance operations controls, audit readiness, segregation of duties and compliance requirements.
