Job Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts, and quarterly and annual financial statements (AFS)
- Ensure compliance with MFRS and internal accounting policies and adherence to internal governance process and procedures
- Support audit process and liaise with external auditors
Financial Analysis and Strategy
- Perform financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare variance analysis and support in preparing management reporting packs
- Provide support to finance projects such as funding exercise, capital planning activities, cashflow analysis, stress testing and other business analysis
Job Requirements:
Qualification: A bachelor's degree in accounting and/or Professional qualification (ACCA/ICAEW/MICPA).
Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years working experience working in audit firms and/or financial reporting/accounting roles in commercial sector.
Skill/ Competency:
- Having audit experience with exposure to larger enterprises or financial services industry would be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS). Familiarity with corporate tax compliance would be an advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
