JOB PURPOSE
To support the management, enhancement, and operational support of MMHE's in‑house ERP system (Cheeta), ensuring the system effectively supports business operations, project execution, procurement, and financial processes in alignment with corporate requirements, governance standards, and digitalisation objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform business requirement study based on the users request and corporate business strategy to identify feasible IT applications to be implemented to support the business and project requirements.
- Lead and execute the implementation of approved ICT initiative/project which include pre-planning activities, detail project scoping, project management (resource deployment, budget monitoring, issue & change order resolution, risk management, project charter and project tracking & reporting), project development lifecycle phases (analysis, design, construction, implementation, post implementation review and project closure report) and setting up of Project Management Office to support Group business objectives and initiatives.
- Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of overall tender proposals (technical/commercial evaluation) to be in line with Corporation's tender and contract policies and procedures.
- Perform and coordinate the development of the application system from gap analysis, functional and technical specification, and detailed design, including unit and systems integration testing as per users specification.
- Prepare System Requirement and Design Specification document for user's sign off.
- Provide support to resolve IT issues/problems related to application implemented as reported to IT Helpdesk within the service level agreement to minimise business disruption.
- Analyze and perform IT change request for system enhancements and provide alternative solutions to resolve users concern for smooth system operations.
- Perform the implementation of IT systems maintenance such as application fixes and upgrades to improve system functionality, availability and reliability in order to minimise system downtime as well as business disruptions.
- Assist in the review and evaluation of existing IT policies and procedures enhancements to ensure efficient & effective implementation of Group IT initiatives and projects.
- Ensure adherence and fully complied to HSE requirements in related work activities among respective discipline personnel through regular briefings/site walkabouts/ departmental meetings with the objective of inculcating HSE awareness as part of the work culture.
- Self-discovery and develop development plan to improve motivation, competency, and leadership skills in line with triple plus in the Corporate Agenda.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or equivalent.
