About the Role

This position will be responsible to assist Head of Unit, Legal (Contracts) on the day-to-day operation of the department which includes providing advisory services and drafting/vetting of all legal documents, letters etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate legal due diligence for corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and negotiate deals, ensuring legal compliance.
• Draft, review, and execute a wide range of legal agreements.
• Ensure that contracts and agreements align with the organization's strategic objectives and legal requirements.
• Coordinate relationships with external legal counsel, engaging their services when necessary for specialized legal matters.
• Ensure that corporate activities adhere to legal standards, industry best practices, and ethical guidelines.
• Implement transparency in reporting on legal matters related to the overall corporate entity.
• Ensure legal considerations are integrated into decision-making processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement risk management strategies for corporate activities, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Provide prompt and effective legal assistance and advice on ad-hoc issues as they arise in the course of corporate operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor's holder in law from recognized higher education institution.
• Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant working experience.
• Working experience in government Agency/ GLC company is highly desirable.
