Position Overview
The ESG Finance Analyst is a strategic role within DXN Group's Group Sustainability Department responsible for conducting comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) financial analysis. This position evaluates ESG-related risks and opportunities, develops business cases for sustainability initiatives, and provides financial insights to support the organization's sustainable development goals and investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
. Conduct detailed ESG risk assessments across DXN Group operations, identifying financial implications and materiality of environmental, social, and governance factors
. Develop financial models and analyses to quantify ESG-related opportunities, including cost savings, revenue generation, and risk mitigation
. Analyze ESG initiative investments, providing return-on-investment (ROI) analyses and cost-benefit assessments to support capital allocation decisions
. Monitor and assess climate-related financial risks, including transition risks and physical risks, in alignment with ISSB IFRS recommendations
. Prepare comprehensive ESG financial reports and dashboards for Manager and Top Management
. Support ESG reporting requirements, including integration of sustainability metrics into financial statements and voluntary ESG disclosures
. Collaborate with finance, operations, and sustainability teams to identify and prioritize ESG investment opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
. Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, rating agencies, and financial analysts, to address ESG financial inquiries
. Stay current with ESG standards, frameworks, and market trends, advising on emerging financial implications for the organization
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Environmental Science, or related field MBA or advanced certification (CFA, ACCA, ICAEW) preferred
. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or sustainability-related roles
. Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards (GRI, SASB, IFRS, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
. Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms)
. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
. Outstanding communication abilities to present complex financial data to diverse audiences
. Knowledge of capital markets, investor expectations, and ESG rating methodologies is highly advantageous
