Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Finance Executive located in Cheras.
Responsibilities:
Full Set Accounting
- Manage full set accounts including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and monthend closing.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial entries in accordance with accounting standards.
- Handle invoicing, payment processing, credit control, and collection followups.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and cost structures to support decisionmaking.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Provide financial insights to management for strategic planning.
Compliance, Audit & Taxation
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including e-Invoice, GST, SST, Income Tax, and HRDCorp.
- Support audit processes and ensure timely submission of financial documents.
- Maintain accurate records for tax filing, GST/ SST submissions, and government reporting.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Work closely with all team members to support operational needs.
- Provide financial guidance on pricing, costing, and project evaluations.
- Assist in improving financial processes and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience handling full set accounts and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, e-invoice, GST, SST, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detailoriented, analytical, and able to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
