Job description Finance and Administration Executive

We are looking for a Finance and Admin Executive with 2 To 5 years of working experience to assist the Finance Manager on all account and finance related matters, among them

(1)handling day-to-day financial operations of the company, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

(2)handling day to day finance matters such as executing payments, managing trade finance facilities, carrying out forex transactions etc

While not requiring the person to be a professional qualified accountant or specialist in financial sector, the person should have at least a degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field and with some knowledge of finance, management or strategy. Furthermore, experience with in dealing with banking related matters especially trade finance and forex transaction will be a plus

While technical knowledge is important, we are even more concern with the personality of the candidate. As a dynamic and forward-looking company, we seek a person who would like to learn new things all the times and set new challenges and targets for him/herself. While guidance and support as well as internal and external training will be provided, we expect the person to be pro-active and highly motivated.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting:

  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Finance:

  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support business planning.
  • Support in forecasting and variance analysis.

Administration

  • Assist Finance and Admin Manager on all office related matters

Key Requirements

  • At least 2 years working experience in the accounting, finance, or banking related area
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business-related fields. We will also consider other degree holder or relevant professional qualification if the candidate shows strong capability and willingness to learn new things
  • Well versed with financial statements, banking products and strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work Independently as well as to lead a team when necessary.

Plus Points

  • Experience in Building Materials, Property, Construction or Home Renovation industries.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin language as need to communicate with business associates and suppliers in China from time to time
