GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION

You will be based at our Finance Operations team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Fixed Asset Sightings & Capitalization

• Assist in physical verification of fixed assets (asset counting, tagging, and validation).
• Ensure all assets are accurately recorded in the asset management system.
• Support capitalization of new assets by Review purchase details, Determine if items meet capitalization criteria and Record assets in the Fixed Asset Register.

2. Month-End Closing & Reporting

• Prepare and ensure availability of supporting documents such as Open PO analysis, OT analysis, Repair & maintenance cost analysis to Support completion of month-end financial reporting.

3. Cross-Department Coordination

• Follow up with departments such as (Procurement ,Operations,Finance) and gather information related to,New asset purchases, Asset disposals or Changes in asset status

4. General Administrative Support

• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including Asset movements,Capitalization, and Depreciation
• Perform data entry and maintenance by Update asset records in Excel or relevant systems.
• Maintain accurate data on purchases, transfers, disposals, or impairments.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or any business related.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, charts)
• Strong analytical skills to interpret monthly financial data
• High attention to detail, especially for costing and accounting processes
