Job Summary

The Finance Manager, Group Reporting is responsible for overseeing group consolidation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions. This role ensures the timely preparation of accurate group reporting and financial statements in accordance with applicable

accounting standards and supports management, audit, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Reporting & Consolidation

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation across multiple subsidiaries
  • Prepare and review group financial statements in accordance with IFRS / SFRS / US GAAP (as applicable)
  • Oversee intercompany eliminations, balances, and reconciliations
  • Ensure consistency of accounting policies across the Group

Statutory & Regulatory Reporting

  • Coordinate statutory financial reporting for group entities across various jurisdictions
  • Liaise with external auditors, local finance teams, and advisors to ensure timely completion of audits
  • Support regulatory filings and disclosures (e.g. annual reports, investor disclosures, IPO-related filings where applicable)

Technical Accounting

  • Provide guidance on complex accounting matters, including: Business combinations and group restructurings, Share-based payments, Revenue recognition, financial instruments and leases
  • Prepare and review technical accounting papers and position memos

Audit & Controls

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Support the enhancement of group-wide financial reporting processes and controls
  • Support group audits

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Drive improvements in group reporting processes, templates, and timelines
  • Support implementation and optimization of consolidation and reporting systems
  • Ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy across the Group

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with regional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions
  • Partner with FP&A teams on group-level matters
  • Support senior management with ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or a related field, or equivalent professional accounting qualifications (ACCA/ICAEW/CPA)
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience and experience in group reporting, consolidation, or audit
  • Hands-on experience managing group consolidation across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS / SFRS (US GAAP experience is an advantage)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage tight reporting deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to manage cross-functional relationships and multitask in a dynamic environment
