Job Summary

• This position is to support Plant Controller and Plant General Manager in achieving company goal and objectives.
• This position will also engage cross functional teams to drive financial performance.
• Responsible for financial reporting, internal control, compliance with rules & regulation and company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities

• Support financial reporting on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Preparing and monitoring the annual budget and monthly forecast.
• FP&A activities including but not limited to costing & profitability analysis.
• Support inventory control such as inventory count, aging review etc.
• Costing monitoring and drive continuous improvement on cost reduction such as BOM review and production variance analysis.
• Support investment in Fixed Asset such as ROI review and maintaining Fixed Asset Register and physical sighting.
• Support account payable (AP) activities including review payment term.
• Compliance of the law of regulation of the company.
• Compliance with the requirement of government and legislative body.
• Liaise all matters pertaining to external and internal auditors.
• Liaise with government departments like IRBM and Custom Malaysia.
• Other ad-hoc projects or assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking/ Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in maintaining financial data, reporting, audit coordination and has preferably overseen a human resource function previously.
