The Finance Manager is responsible for leading the finance team and managing the financial health of the organization. This role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The Finance Manager will ensure accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and effective financial strategies to support the company's objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets and cashflow to ensure financial health.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Provide financial insights and support for strategic decision-making.
- To track and control monthly expenditure, monitor and verify all contracts and payments before cheque signatory signs
- To manage a portfolio of investment properties, including rental collection, sale of properties, tenant management, new property inspections, property maintenance, etc
- To liaise with bankers on the opening of bank accounts, monitoring bank loans & banking facilities, and explore relevant investment products
- Oversee tax planning, statutory submissions, and audits
- Enhance and reinforce internal controls, financial policies, and risk management frameworks
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking or equivalent
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in accounting or finance function
- Knowledge of full set account & accounting system
- Excellent problem-solving skills and stakeholder management skills
- Solid accounting & internal control skills & tax knowledge
- Excellent presentation & communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight timelines
Working hour: Monday to Friday 9AM TO 6PM
