What Your Day Looks Like:
- You'll oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, with a strong focus on project profitability, client billing, cost control, and cash flow management in a fast-paced marketing/agency environment.
- You'll be responsible to monitor aging reports, conduct proactive follow-ups and effective credit control practices to ensure timely collection of receivables.
- You'll support the monthly and quarterly closing process by coordinating reporting activities, preparing necessary documentation, and ensuring compliance with audit and tax requirements within stipulated timelines.
- You'll conduct periodic financial reviews to monitor results against budgeted or forecasted targets, performing variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- You'll lead process optimization and cost control initiatives across the group.
- You'll manage tax compliance across jurisdictions, including corporate tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing.
- You'll support the Head of Finance on all other assigned tasks.
What You'll Bring:
- Required: Currently pursuing/completed Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW).
- Required: Minimum 8 years of working experience in finance, accounting, or audit role in professional firm or commercial.
- Preferred: Background from audit firms with strong exposure to project costing and revenue recognition.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Leadership skills to manage and inspire a team.
- Ability to work under high pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Responsible, organised and meticulous in all tasks.
