Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the overall finance and accounting functions, ensuring timely completion of weekly, monthly, and yearly financial responsibilities.
  • Manage and supervise the finance team to ensure efficient financial operations and reporting accuracy.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, analysis, budgets, forecasts, and financial simulations to support management decision-making.
  • Monitor project costing, construction cost control, budgeting management, and cash flow planning for construction and property development projects.
  • Review and monitor Variation Orders (VO), project claims, and overall project financial performance.
  • Ensure strong internal controls are implemented and compliance with statutory requirements, audit, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Provide strategic financial direction and proactive financial advice to Management for both short-term and long-term business planning.
  • Advise Management on financial resources, operational efficiency, risk management, and investment planning.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, consultants, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Undertake any special assignments, ad-hoc tasks, and related duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the construction and property development industry.
  • Strong experience in construction finance management, project costing, cost control, budgeting management, and cash flow planning.
  • Familiar with Variation Orders (VO), project claims, financial simulation, and construction project financial analysis.
  • Candidates with partially or fully completed professional accounting qualifications such as MIA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent will have an added advantage.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide sound financial advice and make strategic decisions based on accurate financial analysis.
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
