Job Title: Functional Tester

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Description

Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for user interface components.

Monitor and analyze software usability issues, debugging and troubleshooting complex user interface issues.

Develop test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of user interface components.

Work closely with developers and product managers to identify, analyze, and document software defects.

Conduct regression, integration, user acceptance, stress, performance, and other types of testing.

Provide feedback and report on all aspects of user web UI and interface software testing.

Maintain and update test logs, tracking systems, and defect management databases.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and other team members throughout the development process.

Ensure that all user interface components meet standards for functionality, usability, security, and performance.

Skills and Competencies to Have

Background in Banking Domain

TOSCA or Selenium Certified and Experienced (this is necessary) for user interfaces

Proficient with JIRA Test Management Tool

Ability to analyze requirements and create test cases in Zephyr and execute them using Zephyr

Knowledge of web UI testing methodologies and best practices

Experience in writing and executing test scripts

Ability to document and track defects

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, and other web technologies
