Job Responsibilities

About the job General Manager, Project

  • Develop property development strategy & lead operations, including Business Development, Land Acquisition, Project Management, Construction Management, Cost & Contract, Planning & Design, and Contract Management.
  • To lead a team of project managers, consultants and contractors of various disciplines towards the successful completion and delivery of the project in all aspects.
  • Follow up with authorities on the approval of development order, layout plan, land related matters, building plan.
  • Perform feasibility studies, budgeting and cost control of the project along with Finance Team.
  • Can manage the entire spectrum of mixed development projects, from planning and design to construction and completion.
  • Identifying land, projects, and new business opportunities to boost company profitability.
  • Assess potential risks, materials and costs
  • To implement any and all relevant policies, procedures and work constructions as so defined in the Company's Quality Management System
  • Responsible in preparation and presentation of progress reports, proposals and relevant required documentations.
  • Management of other stakeholders, including external partners, upper management, local government officials etc.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural/Building Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in senior managerial position in property industry.
  • Hands-on knowledge and know-how in managing all aspects of property development cycle.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) with track record in property development (mixed development), real estate and construction.
  • Knowledgeable in building regulations, contracts, authority requirements, product development and project implementation standards and processes in Klang Valley is a MUST.
  • Excellent communication and management skills in dealing with external parties such as consultants, contractors and authorities.
  • Able to work under tight schedule and under pressure.
  • Good leadership and meticulous in enforcing high standards of work.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
  • Experience in company expansion and possess a strong network is a MUST
  • Past experience in land acquisition and product development is highly valuable
  • Solid understanding of construction contracts.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
  • Experienced in heading strategic operations with a proven track record in the sustainable and continued growth of the business.

Remuneration

  • RM 18,000 - RM 25,000
