Description
- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports, including reconciliations and variance analyses.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audit processes.
- Support the implementation of financial controls and process improvements.
- Monitor and reconcile intercompany transactions and accounts.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
Profile
A Successful GL Accountant Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in general ledger management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
