Group Financial Reporting (USJ, Subang)

A leading construction solutions company (IPO listing in Q1 2027).

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and consolidate Group financial statements and monthly management accounts across the Group.

2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Group reporting for the CFO, Senior Management, and Board of Directors.

3. Prepare Board Papers, financial reports, and supporting schedules for management and Board meetings.

4. Ensure timely and accurate Group consolidation, including consolidation of subsidiaries and intercompany reconciliations.

5. Support the preparation of annual reports, interim reports, and Bursa Malaysia reporting as part of the Group's IPO readiness.

6. Ensure compliance with MFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and other statutory and regulatory reporting requirements.

7. Prepare financial analysis, variance explanations, and key reporting insights to support management reporting.

8. Support budgeting and cash flow reporting by preparing consolidated financial information and reporting schedules.

9. Drive continuous improvements in Group financial reporting processes, internal controls, and reporting accuracy.

10. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and external advisers on financial reporting and regulatory matters.

Required Qualifications and Skills

1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent are an added advantage.

2. Hands-on experience preparing Group consolidated financial statements, management reports, and Board reporting.

3. Good understanding of MFRS, IFRS, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and statutory reporting requirements.

4. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to work closely with senior management and external stakeholders.

5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial reporting and consolidation processes.
