Job Description

Job Summary

Lead strategic business development by identifying and evaluating new opportunities, partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions. Conduct market analysis and feasibility studies, develop robust business cases, and drive end-to-end project execution. Lead negotiations, manage retail space operations and tenant relations, and develop financial projections and business plans to support sustainable growth. Collaborate with senior leadership to align initiatives with strategic objectives while mentoring junior team members.

Job Description

  • To lead strategic business development by identifying and evaluating potential business opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, and market expansions.
  • To conduct market analysis and feasibility studies to assess the viability and potential impact of new initiatives, preparing comprehensive business cases for senior leadership.
  • To oversee the implementation and execution of business development projects, ensuring that milestones and timelines are met and mitigating any potential risks.
  • To lead all negotiation activities for new initiatives, drafting proposals and fostering strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
  • To manage retail space operations and tenant relations, with a focus on optimizing space utilization, tenant mix, and overall revenue.
  • To create detailed financial projections, budgets, and business plans to support strategic decision-making and drive profitability and long-term growth.
  • To work closely with senior leadership to align business development activities with the company's strategic goals while mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Job Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field (Master's Degree/MBA is an advantage).
  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, investment, retail management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives, partnerships, negotiations, and market expansion projects.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.
  • Experienced in conducting market research, feasibility studies, and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project implementation, including risk assessment and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experienced in retail space management, tenant relations, and revenue optimization is an added advantage.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and external partners.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members while working collaboratively across functions.
