You will be the key person in managing and maximizing operational efficiency and effectiveness of centralized policy processing through good resource management and continuous process improvement in compliance with ethical practices, MSIG code of conduct, policies, rules & regulations.
Service Quality
- To achieve optimal turnaround time for policy processing.
- To achieve the agreed quality rate.
Internal Operation
- Implement and maintain process improvement initiatives to improve service quality and turnaround time.
- Achieve standardization of processes without compromising on customer and business needs.
- To manage processing workload through backlog management and optimize productivity and resource sharing between the various policy processing teams.
- To engage in work state capacity planning and continually review team structures and resources to handle present as well as future processing workload.
General
- Supervise subordinates to ensure an acceptable standard of work is maintained and proper operational procedures are followed.
- Constant review of work processes, resolve discrepancies and make strategic recommendation for improvement.
- To create and foster a harmonious working relationship with open communication within the department and with all other departments.
- To provide necessary P400 & BMS training for PSD and other branch/department staff, where appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Degree in Insurance or equivalent; professional qualification in insurance.
- 6-8 years experience in the insurance industry in an operational capacity.
- Minimum 5 Years of Managerial experience in managing operations.
- Experience in process management.
- Experience in general insurance with good understanding on general insurance products and underwriting.
- Strong leadership skill.
- Strong analytical skill.
- Manpower Resource management.
- Strong interpersonal skill.
- Strong communication skill both written and verbal.
