Head, Delivery

Lead the delivery, evolution and optimisation of Cagamas technology solutions, ensuring technology investments translate into measurable business value, operational excellence and strategic outcomes. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this role is responsible for driving technology delivery, software engineering, application management, digital transformation initiatives, and AI-enabled innovation to support the organisation's growth and future readiness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the delivery of technology initiatives and applications, ensuring alignment with business priorities and organisational objectives.
• Own and drive the technology delivery roadmap, portfolio prioritisation and governance to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Oversee application development, enhancement, support and modernisation to ensure secure, scalable and resilient technology solutions.
• Drive adoption of AI, automation and modern engineering practices to enhance productivity, quality and delivery effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for digitalisation, process improvement and value creation.
• Establish high standards in software engineering, DevSecOps, governance, risk management, security and operational resilience.
• Manage technology vendors, delivery performance, service quality and strategic technology partnerships.
• Lead and develop a high-performing technology delivery team while fostering innovation, continuous learning and agile ways of working.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications in project management, Agile, IT service management or cloud technologies will be an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience with at least 8 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Proven experience leading technology delivery, application development, digital transformation or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, software delivery, cloud technologies, integration platforms, DevSecOps and Agile methodologies.
• Experience driving automation, innovation and AI-enabled technology solutions.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Experience within financial services or other regulated environments is preferred.
