A leading financial services organisation is seeking an accomplished Head of Digital Project Delivery to drive the successful execution of strategic technology programmes and digital transformation initiatives across the business. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a technology delivery professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has a proven track record of delivering large-scale IT projects, managing diverse stakeholder groups, and leading high-performing delivery teams. The role will be instrumental in ensuring critical technology initiatives are executed on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.

Your new role

Reporting into the senior leadershipteam, you will oversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology and digital initiatives, working closely with business leaders, architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, operations, product teams, and external vendors.You will play a key role in translating business strategy into executable technology roadmaps while ensuring strong governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and delivery excellence across multiple programmes and projects

What you'll need to succeed

Essential

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading technology project delivery and transformation programmes.
• Experience managing large, complex IT portfolios and enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Strong programme management, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technology teams and drive delivery excellence.

Preferred

• Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, capital markets, or a highly regulated industry.
• Exposure to digital platforms, customer-facing technologies, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Understanding of AI, automation, or emerging technology implementations.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent.
