Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Human Resources to lead the full HR agenda across Malaysia and Singapore, based in Malaysia.

This is a key leadership role partnering closely with senior management to shape the organisation, strengthen people practices and support the Company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall HR strategy and full spectrum HR function across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Drive organisation design, structure, workforce planning and manpower optimisation.
  • Develop and review the Company's Compensation & Benefits framework, including salary structures, benchmarking, annual reviews and incentives.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive HR policies, procedures and Employee Handbook.
  • Oversee employee relations, performance management, talent management and succession planning.
  • Provide HR guidance to management on employee and employment-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysia and Singapore employment legislation.
  • Partner closely with manufacturing and operational leaders on workforce planning, productivity and people-related initiatives.
  • Lead HR process improvement, governance and reporting across both markets.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or a related discipline.
  • 10–15+ years of HR experience with strong full-spectrum HR exposure.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial, FMCG or a similarly operational environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong track record in organisation design, workforce planning and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Hands-on experience developing HR policies, procedures and Employee Handbooks.
  • Good knowledge of employment practices and legislation across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Strong employee and industrial relations experience.
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic and hands-on, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with proven experience partnering with senior leadership.
