Head of Channel Development and Growth (Consumer Electronics)
Role Overview
Morgan Philips is partnered with a market leader within the Consumer Electronics, Robotics and AI Product space, looking for a strategic and commercially driven leader to build and scale a regional ecosystem across hardware products, service automation, and advanced ecosystem solutions.
This role will shape a multi-layer commercial platform spanning distribution networks, subscription service models, enterprise partnerships, and regional market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Development
- Design and implement a multi-tier distribution framework across suppliers and partners
- Develop a hybrid go-to-market model combining direct enterprise sales and channel distribution
- Establish pricing strategies, margin structures, and partner incentives
- Align commercial strategy with long-term data and platform growth objectives
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and onboard global and regional hardware and technology partners
- Multi-brand retailers (B2C)
- Telco (B2B/B2C)
- Lead negotiations for distribution rights and strategic collaboration agreements
- Secure access to software development kits (SDKs) and integration capabilities
- Build partnerships with telecommunications providers and cloud infrastructure players
Enterprise Growth
- Develop and scale recurring, service-based commercial offerings for advanced technology solutions (subscription model)
- Create bundled enterprise solutions tailored to key industries
- Drive flagship deployments and pilot programs with strategic clients
- Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers across enterprise accounts
Commercial Performance & Ownership
- Own revenue growth, margin targets, and overall channel performance
- Balance hardware sales with recurring revenue streams
- Monitor sales velocity, inventory health, and demand forecasting
- Optimize working capital and financial efficiency
Regional Expansion
- Lead market entry and expansion across SEA and selected international markets
- Explore bundled offerings with connectivity solutions (e.g., 5G partnerships)
- Develop direct-to-consumer (D2C) and marketplace channel strategies
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in distribution, enterprise sales, or channel management.
- Track record of developing multiple channels and distribution partners with proven numbers and network
- Strong track record in Consumer Electronics, Technology or AI/Robotics related products
- Proven experience managing commercial performance and P&L ownership
