  • Lead, drive, and execute winning strategies and transform the entire span of Bancassurance (Banca) business (General: Retail) of the Region; to achieve continuous growth and no. 1 position in market share whilst ensuring profitability in line with the Company's goals and vision.
  • Formulate business strategy and plans for the Region. Develop, execute and drive localized/ customized sales strategies to support expected business growth (both short- and long-term).
  • Collaborate with Maybank Region Senior Management (RSM) e.g. RD, HOC, ZM Auto; to achieve General Retail Banca target.
  • High level management/ coordination / collaboration. Drive and coordinate business performance related activities under all strategic projects under Etiqa and Maybank Group at the Region which encompass fostering strategic alliances between different Line of Business (LOB) of CFS. Capitalize on the synergy within the Maybank Group and delivering Maybank shared aspirations.
  • 3.Lead and accountable for overall General Retail Banca sales/ marketing strategies at the Region (PA, Fire, Motor Branch & AFC, TACP,CVP).
  • Give advise on key Banca business performance indicators. Lead and facilitate discussions effectively whilst resolving conflicting viewpoints and guiding the discussion towards mutual agreement/ benefit.
  • Manage business dynamics within Etiqa Banca Region team (@ 10-20 staff strength) and Maybank Branches/ Auto Finance Centers @50-100 and Maybank branch sales.
  • In-depth understanding of consumer needs and anticipate/ provide input on market trend/ latest update to Sr. Management.
  • Main liaison person for Banca business at the Region. To utilize all channels capabilities in order to creatively cross sell products with others and providing that competitive advantage to the company.
  • Maximising talent and performance. Lead and transform Banca Region team RBM General into high performing managers/ marketers.
  • Coach and share of best practice to optimize sales performance and develop leadership funnel/ succession planning

Job Requirement

  • Min Degree or equivalent, Banking and Finance
  • 6 to 10 years Leadership role, strategic planning (establish needs, requirements, dependencies, execution). Experience in sales and insurance industry is an invaluable advantage.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Good command of written and spoken English. Aggressive, self motivated and result oriented.
  • Able to work under pressure and possess a positive attitude.
  • Able to engage staff and inspires commitment to achieve business objectives as a team.
