Job Description

  • Lead, manage and grow RHB Affluent and Wealth business for nationwide
    • Drive Affluent customers growth acquisition, satisfaction & retention
    • Drive Affluent Deposits, Credit Card, Mortgage, AutoFinance, Personal loan & SME Loans & Premier Proposition Services
    • Drive fee based income growth for Wealth Products
    • Increase customer's product portfolio breadth by increase product holding ratio for all Affluent Customers including Debit Card, Direct FX, FDs etc
  • Design, develop and implement nationwide Wealth Sales channel sales strategy and business plan to grow the Affluent and Wealth business
  • Managing the cross border partnership between Malaysia and other countries to ensure RHB Group synergy alignment and potential growth of other RHB Premier presence worldwide
Strategy & Planning

  • Develop, implement and manage sales strategies to achieve sales volumes and target for Premier Banking customers
  • Oversee the business planning and budgeting/ target setting process for the Affluent and Wealth business
  • Plan and strategize sales activities / campaigns to drive portfolio growths
  • Keep abreast of the incentive competency framework for Premier Banking to ensure that RHB Incentive Framework is competitive

Business Performance & Sales Management

  • Drive revenue and customers portfolio growth for Affluent and Wealth
  • Drive Premier customers acquisition and develop measures to up-sell or cross-sell to customers
  • Drive product and Wealth channel performance to ensure target achievement
  • Review and track daily/ weekly/ monthly sales performance and provide regular feedback to Wealth Sales Track and RSH A&W on overall Wealth performance
  • Ensure sales strategies are effectively executed by all Affluent and Wealth Sales Channels such as RMs/ Centre Managers and targets are met
  • Engage, motivate and coach performance of Centre Managers/ RMs to maximize market opportunities
  • Coordinate with marketing and product/ segment team on customers acquisition & campaigns / events
  • Ensure all RMs act on the leads that are pumped to them and to ensure actionable results
  • Centralized communication & handle Sales Clinic / Sales Workshop
  • To work closely with Performance Management team to handle PIP
  • Assist in joint sales calls with RMs to drive big ticket sales and where it is necessary, to be the speaker for Premier Events
  • Compliance to Bank's Policy procedures and observe sales code of ethics

Business Partnership

  • To work with internal and external stakeholders ( Joy@Work, SME, Corporate, Commercial, HR, RHB Premier Singapore, Cambodia etc) to further identify business opportunities & strategic tie up to grow the Premier Business

Talent Recruitment & Retention

  • To work with HR and RSH A&W to ramp up recruitment for Centre Managers/ RMs/ PRDs to meet the desired recruitment objectives
  • To work with RHB Academy to implement training development plan to build up the sales & technical competency for Centre Managers , RMs and PRDs
  • To craft out & execute RMs retention strategy, performance management standards, standardize PIP coaching best practices
  • To identify potential talent to be groomed to become Premier Relationship Directors, Senior Relationship Manager, Graduate RMs and Centre Manager

Coach / Peer Support

  • As a mentor to provide guidance to all Centre Managers, RMs and ARMs
