Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desk Side Support Agent to provide on-site technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Mac) and applications
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory)
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 and other enterprise tools
  • Handle IT tickets through a ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
  • Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance
  • Assist in onboarding and offboarding of employees (device setup, account creation)
  • Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking
  • Coordinate with remote teams or vendors for issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3+ years of experience in desk side or IT support
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN, and remote support tools
  • Experience with Office 365 and email configuration
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes is a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience in corporate or enterprise IT environments
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN)

Working Conditions:
