We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Desk Side Support Agent to provide on-site technical support to end users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting IT infrastructure, and ensuring seamless day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Mac) and applications
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Active Directory)
- Support Microsoft Office 365 and other enterprise tools
- Handle IT tickets through a ticketing system (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding of employees (device setup, account creation)
- Maintain IT inventory and asset tracking
- Coordinate with remote teams or vendors for issue resolution
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1–3+ years of experience in desk side or IT support
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Active Directory, VPN, and remote support tools
- Experience with Office 365 and email configuration
- Good understanding of ITIL processes is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified
- Experience in corporate or enterprise IT environments
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN/WAN)
