Introduction:
As Trip.com Malaysia continues to grow, we are seeking a high-performing and passionate HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in strengthening HR partnership with business leaders while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with Malaysian regulations. You will collaborate closely with global HR stakeholders and local business leaders to drive strategic and operational HR initiatives in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
In this Role, you'll get to:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to local business teams, providing HR insights and support aligned with company goals.
- Partner with HQ HRBPs and COEs to localize and implement global HR strategies and policies.
- Build strong, credible relationships with leaders and employees, fostering an approachable and solutions-oriented HR presence.
Employee Relations, Compliance & HR Governance
- Manage Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR) matters with professionalism, strict fairness, and confidentiality.
- Ensure HR policies, SOPs, and documentation remain updated, compliant with Malaysian regulations, and aligned with global governance standards.
Performance & Talent Support
- Partner with leaders on talent reviews, succession planning, high-potential identification, and internal mobility.
- Contribute to learning, culture, and engagement initiatives that support retention and talent development.
- Strengthen hiring quality through insights from recruitment feedback, new hire onboarding experience, early attrition, and exit trends.
Operations Excellence, Projects & Cross Functional Collaboration
- Drive HR operational excellence through standardized, digitalized, and data-driven processes in close partnership with the Shared Services Centre.
- Lead and contribute to HR projects and initiatives that strengthen cross-functional collaboration and enhance HR's business impact.
- Take ownership of ad-hoc HR tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving organizational environment.
What you'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 5-6 years of HR experience with direct HRBP responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR compliance.
- Experience working in an MNC or fast-scaling environment is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to build trust quickly and influence without authority.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance business priorities and employee needs.
- Agile, proactive, and self-driven, with a can-do attitude and strong collaboration skills.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
