We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive HR Executive to join our Human Resources team. This role is responsible for managing the monthly payroll process, HR administration, employee benefits, statutory compliance, and HR reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll processing while supporting the overall employee lifecycle and HR operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process and administer the monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, statutory contributions, and other payroll related transactions.
- Prepare payroll reports, HR reports, manpower statistics, and other management reports.
- Calculate and validate sales incentives, commissions, reimbursements, and other variable payments.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely updates in the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Prepare employment related documents and maintain proper HR records and personnel files.
- Administer employee benefits, including insurance, medical claims, and other employee related programmes, and respond to employee enquiries on payroll and HR matters.
- Liaise with the HRIS and payroll system vendor on system related issues, enhancements, testing, and troubleshooting when required.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Support employee lifecycle activities, HR projects, audits, and continuous process improvements.
- To take on HR related ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Key Requirements:
- A Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in HR or relevant with 3 year experience as a HR Generalist, preferably in retail environment.
- Enjoy working with people and possess excellent communication skills, relations building skills and positive mindset.
- A team player who is a fast learner, resourceful, independent, has an eye for details, numerical, highly adaptable and able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Good computer skills in Office 365, Ms Excel and Ms Words.
- Experience with BIPO Payroll System is an added advantage.
- Solid knowledge of Malaysia regulations and statutory requirements related to salaries, taxes, benefits and other payroll related matters required.
- Ability to create detailed spreadsheets, charts and presentations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, as well as analytical skills and operational efficiency.
