  • Lead the recruitment process, Payroll Processing, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and labor regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive work culture.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations and development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues.
  • Assist in employee training and development programs to promote career growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all local and national labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage compensation, benefits, and payroll administration.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive work environment for all employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Professional HR certification is preferred (e.g. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or MIHRM certification/membership).
  • Strong knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, Industrial Relations Act 1967, other relevant Malaysian labour laws, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in HRIS, Microsoft Office applications, HR management software, and HR analytics/reporting tools.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with the Managing Director and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
