What You'll Do

As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) , you will be part of the regional HR team, responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across designated countries. This role focuses on delivering strategic HR support with a strong emphasis on employee relations and engagement .

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Partner with employees throughout their lifecycle: onboarding, career development, internal mobility, and offboarding.
  • Respond promptly and accurately to employee queries on HR matters; address grievances and disciplinary issues effectively.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, headcount optimization, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
  • Drive HR initiatives to enhance engagement: collaborate with regional and HQ teams to design and implement programs, communications, and events.
  • Develop and maintain diverse communication channels to ensure employees are informed about company policies, initiatives, announcements, legal updates, and best practices.
  • Strengthen HR visibility and foster trust, relationships, and alignment with company values.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support to managers, including coaching, counseling, and guidance for problem-solving.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a liaison with other HR functions to resolve issues related to insurance, benefits, and compensation; provide backup support for C&B services when needed.

Learning & Development and Employer Branding

  • Identify training needs for teams and individuals; coordinate and deliver training sessions for employees and interns.
  • Support initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
  • Promote the HR brand through social media and internal campaigns.
  • Develop and execute an annual project plan for Employee Value Proposition (EVP) activities across APAC.

Others

  • Prepare or validate HR reports as delegated, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Stay informed on labor market trends, HR best practices, and Industrial Relations; provide analysis and strategic recommendations to support decision-making.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases; in-depth understanding of labor law and HR best practices, with a passion for continuous learning.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as an HR Generalist; experience in the technology industry is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Malaysian nationality required.
  • CV with a photo is highly recommended.
