Job Description

  1. ·   Act as the primary HRBP for designated business units, building strong relationships with managers and employees. 
  2. ·   Lead and manage Industrial Relations (IR) matters including disciplinary cases, grievances, performance management, and investigations, ensuring fair and consistent practices. 
  3. ·   Provide expert advice on employment laws, HR policies, and best practices to management and employees. 
  4. ·  Support employee engagement initiatives and act as a mediator to resolve workplace conflicts. 
  5. ·   Draft, review, and translate HR documentation (e.g., policies, contracts, notices) in both English and Japanese where required. 
  6. ·   Partner with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and talent management. 
  7. ·  Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development) to deliver integrated HR solutions. 
  8. ·   Monitor HR metrics, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making. 
  9. ·   Ensure compliance with local labour laws, company policies, and collective agreements.
