As we grow, we're looking for a Human Resources Executive to lead and manage the entire HR function across two entities. This is a standalone role - perfect for someone who's confident running HR end-to-end and wants the autonomy to shape people processes from the ground up.
What You'll Be Responsible For
- As the HR lead, you'll take ownership of all people operations, including:
- Managing the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, leave tracking, payroll coordination, claims, and offboarding
- Maintaining accurate HR records, files, and employment contracts across both entities
- Developing and enforcing HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks in compliance with Malaysian labour laws
- Leading recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and coordinating hiring managers
- Driving employee engagement: onboarding experience, culture building, team events, feedback surveys
- Administering statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN) and liaising with relevant authorities
- Managing performance reviews, goal tracking, and training coordination
- Providing HR reports, headcount updates, and insights to management
- Supporting internal systems such as HRIS, digital document approvals, and staff communications
What We're Looking For
Someone looking for a resourceful, self-motivated HR generalist who's ready to take full ownership of the function.
Must-Haves:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fiel
- 2-5 years of hands-on HR experience (preferably across recruitment, operations, and compliance)
- Strong understanding of Malaysian employment law and HR best practice
- Able to work independently, manage time well, and juggle multiple responsibilitie
- Digitally fluent - Google Workspace, payroll systems, HR platforms, spreadsheet
- Excellent people skills - approachable, discreet, and proactive
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience managing HR across multiple entities or departments Exposure to startup, tech, or engineering environments
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, WhatsApp API, or HRIS systems
