As a HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving HR strategies, programs, and initiatives to support the organizations goals. This role requires a leader who excels in talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and HR compliance. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing complex HR functions. The Manager will be managing HR Functions across the AFED Holdings organizations.
Responsibilities
1.HR Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and execute HR strategies align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, and employee engagement activities.
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics to identify trends and implement proactive solutions.
2.Talent Recruitment and Management:
- Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Develop and manage a structured onboarding process.
- Drive talent development programs including leadership training, career progression plans, and succession planning.
3.Employee Relation and Engagement:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and employees on employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and dispute management.
- Foster a positive work environment and employee engagement through initiatives, surveys, and action plans.
- Address and resolve employee concerns, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
4.Performance Management and Development:
- Oversee performance management processes, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations.
- Advise managers on performance improvement plans, coaching, and training programs.
- Ensure that employees development needs are addressed through training, mentoring, and coaching.
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
5.Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with organizational needs and legal requirements.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring equity and competitiveness.
6.HR System:
- Maintain HR systems and processes
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, payroll, and other HR-related systems.
- Utilize HRIS and other systems to track and analyse HR data and generate reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale HR programs and projects.
- Deep understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and best practices.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operational HR tasks.
- Expertise in talent management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
- Strong decision-making skills, problem-solving ability, and a high degree of emotional intelligence.
