Job Description
HR Manager
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Employment Type: Full-Time
Monthly Salary: RM 4,000 – RM 6,000 (Commensurate with experience)

We are looking for an experienced, responsible and well-organised HR Manager who is able to independently manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions for the company.
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, detail-oriented and capable of managing recruitment, payroll, employee relations, HR policies, statutory matters and day-to-day HR operations.
Job Responsibilities
Full Spectrum HR Management
- Independently manage the full spectrum of HR functions and daily HR operations.
- Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and SOPs.
- Provide HR support and advice to Management and employees.
- Ensure HR practices are consistently implemented across the company.
Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage the full recruitment process from job posting to hiring.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews and coordinate candidate selection.
- Prepare Offer Letters, Employment Contracts and other employment-related documents.
- Handle employee onboarding, probation confirmation, resignation and offboarding.
- Coordinate manpower requirements across departments and outlets.
Payroll, Attendance & Leave
- Manage and process monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Verify employee attendance, overtime, allowances, commissions and deductions.
- Manage Annual Leave, Medical Leave, Unpaid Leave and other employee leave records.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HR/Payroll system.
- Handle employee medical claims and other HR-related claims.
EPF, SOCSO, EIS & Statutory Matters
- Handle EPF, SOCSO, EIS and other statutory contributions and submissions.
- Manage new employee registration and employee information updates.
- Ensure statutory payments and submissions are completed accurately and on time.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies when required.
Employee Relations & Discipline
- Handle employee enquiries, complaints and workplace issues professionally.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, absenteeism and employee conduct.
- Manage disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies and applicable procedures.
- Prepare Warning Letters, Show Cause Letters and other disciplinary documentation when required.
- Escalate significant employee-related matters to Management.
HR Policies, Documentation & Compliance
- Develop and update Employee Handbook, HR Policies and SOPs.
- Prepare company memos, internal notices and HR announcements.
- Maintain confidential and complete employee personnel files.
- Manage employment contracts, confirmation letters, resignation documents and other HR records.
- Ensure HR practices comply with applicable Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
- Keep updated with changes in employment regulations and advise Management accordingly.
Performance Management
- Coordinate employee probation and performance reviews.
- Assist Management in setting performance expectations and improvement plans.
- Monitor employee performance and follow up on required actions.
- Support employee training and development initiatives.
HR Administration & Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR reports for Management.
- Maintain employee headcount and manpower records.
- Monitor recruitment status, turnover, leave and attendance.
- Coordinate with internal departments, outlets and external service providers.
- Handle other HR and administrative duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who is:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience handling full spectrum HR independently.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.
- Familiar with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, payroll and statutory requirements.
- Experience with SQL Payroll / HR System will be an advantage.
- Able to independently handle recruitment, payroll, employee relations and disciplinary matters.
- Good communication skills in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Responsible, proactive and detail-oriented.
- Able to handle confidential and sensitive employee information professionally.
- Able to work independently and communicate effectively with Management.
